Be permitted to vote. minnesota state law currently contradicts that. you have the right to vote if you're under guardianship, and only if a court takes it away. so that is against our minnesota constitution. my bill would restore the constitutional position and also just in case somebody is under guardianship and does have the ability to make an independent voting decision, it allows the court and the guardian to work together to give them back that right to vote. but usually the reason why you're under guardianship is that you are not competent. so i think the constitutional premise is the a...
