PAL LA Flights Move to New Gates

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will move its flights departing and arriving at Los Angeles to the new Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC) of the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The MSC gates are in a separate concourse that is connected to the main TBIT area by an underground tunnel.
The Los Angeles airport authority advised that the transfer date is moved to June 15, 2021.
Additional Walk Time to and from Aircraft Gates: Please allot approximately 20 minutes additional time to walk to your departure gates at the MSC. From the TBIT main concourse, after clearing security, passengers will need to access the tunnel walkway via escalators, elevators and moving walkways.

The Hillview estate of 2021 is a far cry from its original beginnings. Up till the 1980s, it was an industrial zone for many MNCs, including the likes of Cycle & Carriage, Castrol Oil, and the Old Ford Factory, which is the only remaining structure of Hillview’s seemingly distant past.
Midwood marks yet another new entrant into an area populated by large yesteryear condos such as Hillview Green, The Dairy Farm, and Glendale Park. Its location is just beside the newest condos in the area, The Hillier and Kingsford Hillview Peak, which TOP-ed in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
Midwood sits on the fringe of land that has yet to be developed and its address at Hillview Rise will require the existing roads to be extended to accommodate the condo.

There are some condos that have names that are just aptly named of what it represents. Be it luxurious, a resort-vibe, or a nature infused estate – that first impression is already built from the get-go.
But there are also those that are sleeper hits – the Alex Residences is one of them. With such a common name, you’d be forgiven for assuming that this is a run-of-the-mill condominium.
If anything, it is placed amongst competitors with really different names as well – The Echelon, Artra – names that evoke a sense of sophistication. So if you’d to compare just on the surface by its name, it does seem very tame in comparison.

Irwell Hill Residences review: Surprisingly expansive grounds + good entry price

It has been an intriguing first few months of 2021 so far.
From the introduction of the massive Normanton Park , to the uniquely positioned The Reef at King’s Dock – you could say that home buyers have had quite a good spread to choose from so far (adding on to the already flourishing list of new launches).
Now just a week after, Irwell Hill Residences makes its introduction.
What I find really interesting here is the juxtaposition between the two recent launches.
Midtown Modern had a focus on bringing a liveability perspective to the dense and crowded Bugis precinct, with its efficient unit layouts and blanket of greenery. And by and large, I would say they have succeeded on that front.

South Beach Residences review: Great location and ultimate views

Heading down Nicoll Highway past the unmistakable Esplanade, not many might know that behind this unique ‘wave-shaped building’ is actually a 5-star hotel hotel, top-end commercial space and ultra-luxury residence – all intertwined into a singular elite lifestyle hub.
Home to the world’s first beer-infusion lab and a host of other dining curiosities, you’ll find this area to be worth an entire Sunday’s exploration (and more).
From the get-go, tip-top transport convenience and panoramic residential sky decks on the 22nd and 32nd floor of the residence vaguely hint at the price premiums that tenants/owners fork out for a unit here.

Normaton Park review: 1.862 units with mega facilities on a tighter timelines

And if this phrase was any indication of consumer preferences, it would seem that Normanton Park would be on due course for a home run.
After all, it is and should be the biggest new launch of 2021 (bar any surprise mega en bloc deals) – at a staggering total of 1,862 units.
So for those keeping track, Normanton Park will surpass D’Leedon as the second biggest development in Singapore (in terms of units) – the first prize trophy still goes to Treasure at Tampines – the behemoth in the East with 2,203 units.
But let’s be honest, this isn’t a prize that anyone really wants to win.

NYON review: Peranakan-inspired boutique condo

For the benefit of those less familiar with the East, the culturally rich neighbourhood of Katong was an area once filled with coconut plantations and dominated by seaside bungalows and pre-war shophouses for wealthy Peranakans and Eurasians.
Today, the shophouses continue to stand strong with its immaculate motifs and colourful facades while many of the bungalows have given way to high rise condominiums. In fact, Aurum Land’s acquisition of several landed homes to build NYON has effectively brought the end to landed property plots left along Amber Road.
Playing on its distinguished surroundings, NYON’s very name is inspired by the word “Nyonya”, a term which the Peranakan Chinese community commonly refer to themselves by.

Myra condo review: Freehold in a convenient location

As far as records go, Selangor Dredging Berhad (SDB) has long been a believer in the value of freehold projects.
So it really comes as no surprise that The Myra is a freehold project in itself – despite its immediacy to both the Potong Pasir MRT station and surrounding commercial spaces like the Poiz Centre.
For those wondering, the plot of land that the Myra sits upon is actually an amalgamation of 17 separate land plots – all of which were privately owned by individual landlords up till 2018 when they were collectively purchased for $60.2m.
Admittedly, the Myra’s TOP date is still a ways away (est. end-Nov 2024). So far since its launch 3 months ago, it has seen a near 20per cent take up rate of its 85 units.
