Haven't heard reports of damage but if anything was in the path of this tornado, it was likely not a good situation. it's one of the strongest tornadoes i've seen, probably a half mile, mile wide, and it became quickly wrapped in rain and right now, we're just stuck in the mud again, just like we were yesterday in northern kansas. so tornado season is definitely in full effect. tomorrow looks like a substantial outbreak from texas, oklahoma, kansas, even further north. >> reed, just tell me again exactly where you are right now. >> right now we are just northwest of salina. i believe near the ...

Useful research. >> simon, you've done this for a long time, for a decade now. what have you learned in your experience doing this? >> i've learned quite a bit. with every situation, it's different. with this situation, it was completely different. one thing we learned on this situation, the wall cloud associated with this tornado was mostly on the north and northeastern side of the tornado and had some striking differences to some other wall clouds that we've seen. this wall cloud was hugging the ground, made it very difficult to see the tornado, even with all the debris. and there's this fea...
