WandaVision Review (Full Season): Please Standby As Elizabeth Olsen's 'Scarlet Witch' Emerges To Be The Most Powerful Avenger!

WandaVision Review (Full Season): What Is It About?
It takes no mad scientist to decode it’s a love story of two people named Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany). Now that you’ve got this, let me say it without spoiling anything for you – it’s not that simple (see, simple. Didn’t spoil anything). It starts with showing Wanda and Vision as a part of a sitcom, which changes its theme with every passing episode and is set in Westview. Beginning in the ’50s, it ranges up to the shows like Modern Family, The Office exploring every decade’s flavour of sitcom-history.

WandaVision 1x8 review: "Previously On"

Unlike every
WandaVision episode that came before, “Previously On,” the penultimate episode of the season, serves to tell the original story of Westview. The whole show has been shrouded in mystery, but this latest episode of
WandaVision is here to explain everything to the audience, as well as explore the root of Wanda’s grief and how it led to her actions. After Agatha Harkness was revealed to be a witch in the last episode, the show took a different turn by digging deeper into the motivations of Wanda.
But, before that, the series goes back to Agatha’s origins in 1693 Salem, Massachusetts. Agatha’s mother and the other witches are getting ready to execute her for treason. It all goes wrong, however, and all of the witches die through Agatha’s own magic during the execution.

'WandaVision' 1×6 review: "All-New Halloween Spooktacular"

Moving on from the 80s sitcom aesthetic,
WandaVision is back with a style more in line with that of a 90s sitcom. The “Malcolm in the Middle” inspired intro, fourth wall breaks, and caricatures heavily reflect the types of family-based sitcoms that were popular in the 90s. Even Pietro Maximoff, who was introduced in the last episode, takes up the “mischievous uncle” role as he causes chaos with his nephews.
As the title indicates, Halloween is backdrop for this week’s episode. As Billy and Tommy get ready for the night ahead of them, Wanda, Vision, and Pietro dawn their own comic book accurate costumes. Vision tells Wanda that he needs to join up with the neighborhood watch and can’t go trick-or-treating with the rest of them. Wanda finds that suspicious but let’s him go. With that, Wanda, Pietro, Tommy, and Billy venture out to join the Halloween festivities. In the middle of having fun and causing trouble, Tommy and Billy discover their powers, inheriting the same abilities as their mother and uncle. Meanwhile, Wanda learns that Vision isn’t with the neighborhood watch.

'WandaVision' 1x4 review: "We Interrupt This Program"

The first three episodes of
WandaVision relied very heavily on an overarching mystery angle. There were hints and nods that there was something much greater happening, but nothing substantial was given away in those first three episodes. Every time there was something that could explain the mystery, it was rewound or censored. The fourth episode, titled “We Interrupt This Program,” forgoes this by diving into everything that’s been going on behind the sitcom facade.
Instead of paying homage to shows of the past, this week’s episode tells us how Teyonah Parris’ character, Monica Rambeau (aka Geraldine), ended up in Wanda’s life and why she was catapulted out of it. Starting with Monica re-materializing during the Blip, she finds her way back to a S.H.I.E.L.D.-like organization, called S.W.O.R.D., where she reconnects with her old colleagues after a five-year absence.

WandaVision Review: While Everyone Was Waiting For Post-Credits, Marvel Surprises With Pre-Credits Worth 2 Episodes!

WandaVision Review: While Everyone Was Waiting For Post-Credits, Marvel Surprises With Pre-Credits Worth 2 Episodes!
The best thing about the first two episodes of the show is the decision of releasing particularly two episodes to begin with.

WandaVision Review:Marvel takes the Mandalorian route (thanks to Disney) by releasing a couple of episodes at the start, and unveil the rest of them weekly. The show starts by paying tribute to the classic sitcom-style many of us have witnessed in some of the shows we’ve loved.

'WandaVision' episodes 1 & 2 review | The Young Folks

The new era of Marvel properties recently got announced at the Disney Investor Day. Releasing exclusively on Disney+,
WandaVision marks the first entry in a long line of freshly told stories with unique presentations. After a whole year with no new Marvel properties, series writer Matt Shakman’s first two episodes were released at once on Disney+.
The first episode starts out with a cheesy intro akin to that of sitcoms of the past. Here we’re introduced to our two main characters, Wanda and Vision. It’s shown that they just moved into a new house in a new town. It’s also shown in the intro and first few scenes that both of their powers still work, although they’re much more cartoonish in comparison to how they’re shown in previous Marvel movies. The typical husband and wife dynamic that so many sitcoms rely on is emulated in
