A 50-year-old village head, Surajo Madawaki has gone into hiding after he allegedly aided bandits to kill a farmer in Katsina state. Madawaki is the village head of Gobirawa in the Faskari Local Government Area of the state. President Muhammadu Buhari hails from Katsina, one of the most terrorised states in the country. SaharaReporters learnt that Madawaki went into hiding after allegedly aiding bandits to kill Yahaya Danbai, a villager who had confronted and killed a terrorist following an attack.
