Wavemakers India arm won new business worth Rs 1,750 crores in H1 2022, twice as much as in 2021, according to CEO Ajay Gupte. New clients include Reckitt Benckiser, Star Health Insurance, Abhi Bus, and Havmor. Gupte said 30-35% of the 800 employees are involved in tech, data and content, and media planning remains core.
Wavemaker has appointed Sindhuja Rai as CEO-Asia Pacific. She will be based in Singapore and report to Global CEO Toby Jenner.
