RANIBANDH: Wishing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee speedy recovery, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday said that she is in pain due to her injury and wondered whether she could feel the agony of the families of BJP workers killed during TMC's rule in the state.
Shah, who was addressing a poll rally here, said 130 BJP workers were killed by TMC goons.

In the battleground of West Bengal, Bharatiya Janata Party Core Group to meet today in order to finalise candidates for upcoming WB Assembly Polls. Recently JP Nadda launched ‘Lokkho Sonar Bangla’ manifesto crowdsourcing campaign in Kolkata months ahead of the Assembly polls. Lokkho Sonar Bangla manifesto crowdsourcing campaign will have more than 200 meetings. Through the move, the BJP aims to reach all constituencies in West Bengal to prepare its manifesto for the state election. Suggestions from across the state will be collected before preparing the party’s West Bengal poll manifesto.
State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief Dilip Ghosh dismissed speculations of cricketer Sourav Ganguly joining the party, saying he had no idea about it and it had not been discussed. The state party chief also announced the core committee of the party will soon declare names of the candidates for the first and second phase of elections in West Bengal.

Bardhaman: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief JP Nadda who is in West Bengal for a day-long tour, ahead of the state elections targetted ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) saying that it is working with criminal instinct as BJP has lost about 130 party officials, 300 supporters in Bengal.
This is the second visit of the BJP President in two months, as his convoy was attacked last month.
"Last time when I came, the manner in which I was welcomed enroute Diamond Harbour, we were attacked under a plan by the administration and political party, the nation witnessed it. Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) took a strong note of this. Today when I am here again, I say so far so good," Nadda said while addressing a press conference here.
