TNT’s AEW: DYNAMITE achieved great numbers during last Wednesday’s episode on April 14, which ranked as the show’s most watched episode since the series launched on October 2, 2019. See highlights below:
AEW: Dynamite

Week 80 of AEW was the most watched episode of the year among all key demos.
Week 80 was the most watched episode of both 2020 and 2021 among total viewers (best since the series’ premiere on 10/2/19) and P25-54 (best since Week 3 on 10/16/19)
Among P18-49 and P18-34, it was the most watched episode since Week 62 on 12/9/20

Many fans didn't expect Bad Bunny to turn out as good as he did, and he showed his detractors otherwise at WrestleMania 37.
Speaking to Sportskeeda, Priest revealed that he taught Bad Bunny how to perform the move safely and without harming himself or the other superstar. He also said the move was a last minute addition to the match.
"I remember I showed him a video, because he knew what the move was and I was trying to explain to him how to do it. And I'm actually like, 'What do you think?' He was like, 'I don't know man. Wrestlemania's tomorrow. You want me to do that?' And I was like, 'It'd be really sweet if you could,'" he said. "I knew he was going to surprise people. Like I've been working with him since the week before Royal Rumble. We've been in the ring every single week. He put it the work and I know, cause I was there. I watched him, I watched him go through pain. I watched him bleed. I watched him struggle to stand up and I also watched him say, 'Let's do that again. Let's keep going. No, no, let's go, let's go.' And not quit. You know, every single week we had our time that we had booked at the Performance Center and then he would create extra time and ask for extra time, like before RAW. We would even go to SmackDowns just to work out and then leave."

Chris Jericho revealed on Instagram today that the Inner Circle will be appearing on Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite and they’ve got a lot to say. He posted:

MLW Is Coming to Vice TV This Spring

Major League Wrestling is heading to Vice TV.
MLW revealed they will debut on Vice TV in the spring, with no exact date given, but this ends weeks of speculation regarding a television deal.
MLW Fusion airs every Wednesday night on YouTube and Fubo Sports. The show also airs on DAZN, beIN SPORTS, and the Roku Channel. It will be interesting to see if Fusion moves over to Vice or they introduce a new show.
Vince TV currently is the broadcast for the highly popular Dark Side Of The Ring series, which has been their highest-rated show. It seems they're happy to introduce more wrestling to their network.

Former WWE Superstar Batista commented on his retirement during an appearance for Justice Con. The former WWE Champion said:
"Don’t put that out there, people will jump all over that [laughs]. ‘He’s coming out of retirement!’ No, I’m not. It’s so hard to convince people that I’m actually retired. You have no idea how tough that discussion is. When a professional wrestler retires, they don’t really retire, they kind of retire. If the paycheck or event is big enough, they’ll come out of retirement. It’s just not that way with me. I exited the business in such a storybook way, I could never go back. I’m just done. I got to finish on my own terms and nothing is going to bring me back and take away from that."

Riddle Shocks WWE Fans With A Surprise Win Over Randy Orton On Raw

Riddle and Randy Orton went head-to-head on this week’s episode of WWE Raw on USA Network. In a shocking conclusion, Riddle came away with a win in what was a very good match.
Given Orton's recent WrestleMania win, everybody thought the ring veteran would win and he did dominate most of the early part of the match. But Riddle refused to give up and took it to Orton.
At one stage Orton nailed an impressive superplex, but Riddle kicked out. Orton then hit the hangman’s DDT on Riddle and was about to hit his signature RKO, but "The Original Bro" countered and rolled Orton up for the unexpected shock victory.

As reported last week a number of WWE Superstars were released from their contracts, those names included Samoa Joe, Tucker, Billie Kaye, Peyton Royce, Mickie James, Kalisto, Wesley Blake, Bo Dallas, and Chelsea Green.
It was reported at the time they were let go due to budget reasons, but new information has come to light suggesting some on that list might have been let go because of recent actions backstage.
Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that there was somebody on the list who complained about their booking, and another was not happy about being at last weekend’s WrestleMania 37. Meltzer did not indicate who made the complaints but he noted their actions could be the reason they were released from the company.

Vince McMahon has reportedly made several big creative changes to tonight’s Raw broadcast which will go live at the top of the hour on USA Network.
Fightful is reporting that McMahon arrived "significantly late" to Monday’s creative team meeting and then proceeded to make changes as per usual.
The company is now no longer advertising Randy Orton vs. Braun Strowman for the show despite heavily hyping the match all week long. The only two things advertised for the broadcast are, Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair and Drew McIntyre seeking answers from MVP.

Championship Celebration Announced For Tuesday's WWE NXT

WWE has announced a new segment for Tuesday’s episode of NXT on USA Network.
New NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida will be featured in a special Championship Celebration on the show.
Last week he picked up a surprise victory over Santos Escobar to win the Cruiserweight Championship. Escobar had only just become an undisputed champion when he defeated Jordan Devlin at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver in a ladder match.

T-Bar and Mace Unmasked On Monday's WWE Raw

Retribution recently disbanded and it looks like the masks are going as well.
During Monday's WWE Raw, Mace and T-Bar went up against Drew McIntyre. At one point in the match, Braun Strowman ran down for the save after McIntyre was being beat down.
The match was then changed to a tag match, and during that match, McIntyre ripped off Mace’s mask and hit him with it. The referee called for the bell, with the former Retribution members picking up a DQ win.
If that wasn't enough, Strowman delivered a shoulderblock on T-Bar and tore off his mask!
