India's foreign exchange reserves have decreased by $30 million to $594.85 billion for the week ending August 25, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The drop is mainly due to a decrease in foreign currency assets (FCAs) by $538 million to $527.24 billion. Gold reserves, on the other hand, have increased by $530 million to $44.35 billion.
