And welcome back to msnbc sunday. following the correspondents dinner last night, we are following all the new developments and the breaking news out of new york. homeland security secretary janet in a pnapolitano says authorities have recovered forensic evidence after the car bomb was found in new york s very busy bustling times square district. the explosive devices found inside a nissan pathfinder. a street vendor alerted police after he noticed smoke pouring from the suv. so police dismantled that device after using a robot to break the car s windows. a large section of times square was virtually shut down and several buildings evacuated. federal officials say an initial assessment indicates the bomb was not a working device. secretary napolitano telling msnbc investigators don t have any suspects but they have recovered fingerprints from the vehicle as well as that suv s v.i.n. number. secretary napolitan toe says they are treating it as a potential terrorist attack. ....
