NP fire extinguished.
Acting Chief Fire Officer Marlon Smith has just confirmed that the fire caused by an explosion at the NP compound in Sea Lots has been extinguished. The explosion occurred during an operation at Tank 4 shortly after midday. Workers were immediately evacuated from the compound and emergency response teams, including fire appliances from Brigade Headquarters on Wrightson Road, were quickly on the scene.
