At present, there are currently 1,91,817 active covid-19 cases in Karnataka. As many as 25,32,719 recoveries and 32,788 deaths have been reported.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister's office, 120 schemes in the state have been included in this platform.

Yediyurappa on Friday clarified that these will be held only if the pandemic comes under absolute control.
Yediyurappa, who is on a day-long tour in Belagavi and Dharwad districts to take stock of the pandemic preparedness, told reporters that SSLC students and their parents need not panic over the announcement of examinations.
"As the minister has already stated, no student appearing for SSLC examinations will be failed," he said.

The Karnataka government on Saturday commenced the process of crediting ₹3,000 each into the bank accounts of construction workers as COVID relief announced under the first package last month.
Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa launched the programme under the direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme. In the first instalment, a sum of ₹110 crore will be credited into the accounts of four lakh construction workers.
The government set aside ₹1,111.82 crore under the first COVID-19 package for various categories of unorganised workers and farmers. The Chief Minister said 25 lakh workers registered under the Karnataka Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board fund would get the financial aid. Funds would be transferred to all eligible workers in the next few days.

With Karnataka’s positivity cases for COVID-19 standing at 16.42% at present, Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa told elected representatives, including MLAs and MPs, and officials to make a concerted effort to bring down the positivity rate below 10%.
He also instructed them to bring down the death rate from the present 1.75%. The State recorded 22,823 COVID-19 positive cases and 401 deaths on Friday.
On Saturday, the Chief Minister held an over two-hour-long video-conference with MLAs and MPs, and officials of Mysuru, Hassan, Belagavi, Kalaburagi and Vijayapura districts and discussed with them availability of facilities for treatment of COVID patients.
