Jarryd Hayne's former teammate Krisnan Inu is under investigation by his club after his comments surrounding the fallen NRL star's sentencing this week.
It comes just one day after rugby league star Tony Williams was sacked by his New York club after making "appalling" social media posts about the victim in Hayne's sexual assault case.

Former NRL player Tony Williams has had his contract with a US rugby league team torn-up after making supportive comments of convicted criminal Jarryd Hayne.
Williams and former NRL star Krisnan Inu triggered dismay after taking to social media to support Hayne following his sentencing on Thursday.
"Fn dogs," Williams wrote on his Instagram story.
"To all Haynsy's family and friends stay strong for him and let God do he's (sic) thing I love you all … God always prevails.

Former Test and Origin star Tony Williams has been sacked by the New York Freedom over his social media rant following the guilty verdict in former teammate Jarryd Hayne's sexual assault trial.
Williams had signed last week to play in the new North American Rugby League competition but the club issued a statement on Friday to say: "We cannot control what others do, but we can control how we respond.
"In light of the comments made by Tony Williams, his contract with New York Freedom has been terminated."
New York’s signing of Williams had been seen as a huge boost for the new competition.

Jarryd Hayne's former Parramatta teammate Tony Williams has been sacked by his New York club after making "appalling" social media posts in response to Jarryd Hayne's sentencing on Thursday.
The ex-superstar of Australian sport will be jailed for at least three years and eight months without parole for sexually assaulting a woman in her Newcastle home in 2018. He was given a maximum sentence of five years and nine months.

Former NRL player Tony Williams has been axed by his new club the New York Freedom over social media comments about Jarryd Hayne's prison sentence.
Williams was one of two former teammates to take to Instagram on Thursday, claiming an "innocent brotherly" had been sent to jail.
The former Kangaroos second-rower also labelled the victim and justice system as "flops", as part of his Instagram stories.
The posts prompted near-immediate action from the Freedom, who signed Williams last month as the highest-profile recruit in the new North American Rugby League.
"In light of the recent comments made by Tony Williams regarding the sentencing of Jarryd Hayne, New York Freedom can confirm that the contract between Tony and the club has been terminated," the club said in a statement.

His NARL club, New York Freedom, responded swiftly, announcing on Friday (AEST) that Williams’ contract had been torn up.
“We cannot control what others do, but we can control how we respond,” the club said. “In light of the comments made by Tony Williams, his contract with New York Freedom has been terminated.”
Williams has since posted on his Instagram account: “To anyone that I may of [sic] offended I speak from the heart and most of time it’s out of anger a [sic] brother had been convicted it isn’t easy to take.
“People that know me know that I’m loyal and loving and sometimes gets the best of me but will never leave a brothers [sic] back when he needs me to hold him up. I apologise for the choice of words I used and to anyone that I have caused hurt. Especially to people that support me. Sorry.”

Hayne, who played alongside Williams at Parramatta, was sentenced to five years and nine months jail, with a non-parole period of three years and eight months.
Williams posted to his Instagram following the decision in Newcastle District Court.
"Fn dogs," Williams wrote on his Instagram story.

"New York Freedom condemns Tony's comments, and his opinions are not the opinions of the New York Freedom or any party involved with the club."
