CHILDREN living in the Bon Air Gardens community can now enjoy supervised fun outdoor recreational activities at the newly upgraded EPIC community play park.
A release last week said the Digicel Foundation, through its EPIC (Extraordinary Projects Impacting Communities) initiative, approved a grant of $35,000 and collaborated with the Bon Air Gardens community council and the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation for this community project.
The park located at Woodstar Avenue, Bon Air Gardens, Arouca, was given a facelift which included the repair and purchase of new play park equipment, installation of benches, installation of a gate, a fresh paint job and some minor landscaping, the release said.
