NWU Takes On Employers Who Treat Employees Badly

THE National Workers Union (NWU) is not pleased by the actions taken by certain employers against their employees singling out the security services sector and St Jude Hospital.
“The NWU is extremely concerned about some of the industrial behavior being exhibited by certain employers within the Security Services Sector,” noted the union’s President-General Tyrone Maynard.
Maynard said that the NWU is adamant that the coronavirus pandemic, cannot be held responsible for what he described as “those industrial atrocities that were being committed before the start of the pandemic and are taking place currently.”

Rajouri, Feb 11: To ensure the better implementation of the Government schemes on ground level and for proper bridging between District Administration and Public, the District Administration Rajouri today came up with a new concept of Lok Mitar- helping hands for public. District Development Commissioner Rajouri Rajesh K Shavan, on Thursday constituted as many as 386 teams consisting of the field functionaries from RDD, ICDS, Forest, Agriculture, Education, IT and Revenue Department and designated them as Lok Mitars at a mega event organised at the district headquarter.
