BIRMINGHAM A Vestavia Hills woman has died 10 days after being struck by a vehicle near Avondale Park in Birmingham.
Devyn Carder Danley, 25, died early Saturday morning at UAB Hospital, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. A release from the coroner’s office says Danley was one of multiple pedestrians struck by a motor vehicle on 40
th Street South at 5
th Avenue South in Birmingham on Dec. 2, 2020.
According to reports, Danley and two friends were hit in a crosswalk near Avondale Park. All three women were transported to UAB Hospital where Danley remained until her passing. The other two are recovering.
