See it: ‘Staten Island’s Empire State Building’ lights up South Avenue

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- With lights celebrating holidays and events, the Corporate Commons Three building has been dubbed “Staten Island’s Empire State Building.”

“We added exterior LED lights as a design feature to complement the highly reflective Italian blue glass that is unique to [the building], and also to outline the unique shape of our newest Class A office building,” the Nicotras explained. “As we planned the lighting, we realized that with an additional investment, we could create a community landmark, too, by celebrating holidays and marking important community moments in vibrant colors related to the event.”
