After living a life devoted to serving others, Marjorie T. Stephens, age 96, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 14, 2021.
Marjorie was born in Pasco County, Florida, to Roberts Jennings Taylor and Mary Viola Thomas Taylor on September 13, 1924. At the age of 20, she married the love of her life, Dr. William A. Stephens, and they were blissfully married for 45 years.
Marge was the one saving the lost or stray dog and taking them home. As an adult, she served humanity as a registered nurse for more than 54 years.
She never lost her love for mankind or for the animals that others neglected. She tried to save them all.

Mrs. Argentina Raymond Ward, age 88, received her heavenly wings on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Community Hospice in Vidalia, Ga.
Mrs. Argentina Raymond Ward was born on October 22, 1932, in Pulaski, Georgia, to the late Jake and Janie Johnson Lovett.
Eight children were born in her union to the late Mr. Gabe “BJ” Raymond.
Argene, as she was affectionately called by all who loved her, was a talented seamstress, a hard worker, loved God, loved to cook, always had a smile, loved her church and loved to sing. She was a member of the Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home Chorus until her health failed.

Kay was born in Statesboro, Georgia, in 1956 to Richard and Betty Rogers.
Kay was a graduate of the Statesboro High School. She started her working career as an educator for over 20 years. Kay devoted most of her professional career working for the American Cancer Society as a community relations specialist. She had a knack for encouraging people to donate time and money to show their support for a very worthy cause that was dear to Kay’s heart.
After retiring from the American Cancer Society, Kay could not relax so she started working as a clerk for the Bulloch County District Attorney’s Office, where she quickly became part of the team.

William J. Collins, age 89, of Quitman, Ga., died Monday, December 14, 2020, following a brief illness.
He was born in Statesboro, Ga., to the late Richard and Fannie Collins.
After his service to our country in the United States Air Force, Mr. Collins enjoyed a lifelong career in the printing industry.
He was a member of the Quitman Church of Christ. In addition to being active in the church, he happily served his local community in a variety of ways including roles with the Boy Scouts of America and teaching hunter safety courses while residing in Homerville, Ga.
