The Class X board exams were cancelled this year owing to the spike in Covid cases due to the second wave BHUBANESWAR: The state government is likely to announce the annual High School Certificate (HSC) or Class X board exam results by the last week of June, school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Dash said on Sunday. “The assessment process of Class X students is going on and we expect to announce the results by the last week of June, as we had told earlier. All efforts are being made to adhere to the stipulated timeframe,” Dash said. After the state government announced cancellation of Class X exams due to surge in Covid cases for the 2021 academic session, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) decided to evaluate the students on the basis of marks secured in classes IX and X. Most mentor schools have already sent the marks to the board for calculation, an official said. ....
