Ullal police in Karnataka seized 7kg of silver ornaments and around Rs 2 lakh from the Innova car which they took into custody. Manjeswaram police said that the car was seized by Ullal police after the accused abandoned their vehicle on knowing about the vehicle checks being conducted by the police on the highway. It is suspected that the accused had fled in another vehicle with the remaining ornaments and cash. ....

Print doyen Mohan Bhandary is no more Mohan Bhandary, a doyen of the printing industry, with rich experience spanning over five decades passed away on 23 June 2021. Bhandary was 71 years old. An electrical engineer - Bhandary was an alumnus of KREC, Suratkal - he was renowned in print industry circles for his technical expertise vis-a-vis different types of paper and printing techniques.
