Es war ein herber Umstieg vom Mercedes in den Jaguar. Der Mercedes (EQA, Test) fährt großenteils von alleine. Der Jaguar dagegen will einen aktiven Fahrer. Genau das ist seine Nische. Es ist mir bewusst, dass gute Fahrbarkeit in einem SUV nicht die höchste Priorität hat, doch es gibt eben Kunden, die genau das wollen, weil sie zum Beispiel Rückgratprobleme mit schwerpunktgünstigeren, tieferen Sitzen erleben.
Der F-Pace fährt für seine Größe und Höhe erstaunlich gut. Man sieht viel, vor allem den Kurvenausgang (leider überhaupt keine Selbstverständlichkeit). Das Chassis vermittelt ein gutes Gefühl vom Fahrzeug, von Position und Zustand jedes Rades. Lenkrad und Pedale geben viel Feedback. Das Auto steht daher weit in jener Nische, in der sonst noch Alfa-Romeos Stelvio (Test) Freunde sucht: gute Straßenlage, viel aktive Fahrfreude und ein Allradantrieb, der dir klar sagt, wofür er gebaut wurde: Asphalt. The Journal North has long been a supporter of measures to promote “dark skies” by muting and shielding lights to help provide better views of northern New Mexico’s spectacular night skies.
As soon as plans to switch out all of the city’s existing street lights with new, much more energy-efficient LED lights appeared on a City Council committee agenda, we called on city leaders to follow the lead of other cities and make sure that the LEDs installed here are the right kind that don’t spread glaring blue light and instead focus the light downward with “warmer” tones that reduce light pollution.
