A joint break-and-enter investigation by Bancroft and Central Hastings OPP officers has led to charges against three Bancroft residents.
Officers, including those of Central Hastings’ community street crime unit, on June 8 searched a home on Old Hastings Road in Wollaston Township, southwest of Bancroft. They charged three people and recovered numerous items believed to have been stolen, Const. Barbra Hunter reported.

Joseph Sangster, 36, Douglas Garrett, 72, and Brian Menezes, 61, are each charged with six counts of possessing property obtained by crime under $5,000 and six counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit an indictable offence.
