During an April 12 Council meeting, Mayor Sandy Brown announced the latest recipients of the COVID-19 Community Recognition Awards.
The recognition program is aimed at honouring deserving residents, businesses and organizations and has seen more than a dozen awards announced since the fall of 2020.
Ms. Frew provided all the socially distanced drop-offs and pick-ups of the kits for months. The customers and nominators of the Pottery Parties submission say that Tanya kept them sane and busy with pottery projects and they are very thankful. The Orangeville Lions Club was the other recipient of the Town’s COVID-19 Community Recognition Award.
