CAMDEN, S.C. (WIS) - The Camden Police Department is asking for community assistance to help locate a dog that belonged to the couple that was found dead inside a house fire.

Piper, a 10-week old Lagotto Romagnolo puppy, belonged to Steven and Nancy Hales.
The bodies of Steven Hales and Nancy Hales were found on January 10 after officials extinguished the fire at their home on Lyttleton Street. The cause of death for both victims has been ruled a homicide.

Camden, S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw Co. Coroner David West says two people whose bodies were found following a house fire in Camden were murdered.
West says Steven and Nancy Hales both died due to homicide. The specific method of homicide was not released.
West says the couple had been married 36 years and moved to Camden in 2005.
According to the Camden Police Department Thomas Knotts was arrested Monday night and charged with two counts of murder and arson in connection with the fire at the home on Lyttleton St.
Officers say Knotts was acquainted with the victims who resided on Lyttleton Street in Camden and more charges are expected.

CAMDEN, S.C. (WIS) - The Kershaw County Coroner’s Office has identified the couple who were found dead inside a Camden house fire.
The bodies of Steven Hales and Nancy Hales were found on January 10 after officials extinguished the fire at their home on Lyttleton Street. The cause of death for both victims has been ruled a homicide.
They had been married for 36 years and moved to Camden in 2005, the coroner’s office said.
