Towering paceman Kyle Jamieson completed an 11-wicket match haul on Wednesday as New Zealand thrashed Pakistan in the second Test to become the world’s top-ranked team.
Jamieson was near unplayable in Pakistan’s second innings in Christchurch, finishing with 6/48 to go with his 5/69 in the first innings, as Pakistan were all out for 186 during day four’s final session to give New Zealand victory by an innings and 176 runs.

Kyle Jamieson took a five wicket haul as New Zealand bowled out Pakistan for 297, anchored by a sterling 93 from Azhar Ali, on day one of the second Test against New Zealand in Christchurch Sunday.
Jamieson, in only his sixth Test, had figures of 5/69, the third five-wicket haul of his career.

New Zealand’s first-Test hero Neil Wagner will miss the second Test against Pakistan and is expected to be out for more than five weeks as he recovers from breaking two toes during this week’s dramatic victory, his coach said Thursday.
The world’s third-ranked Test bowler suffered the injury while batting and needed pain-killing injections as he bowled 21 overs in Pakistan’s first innings and 28 in the second to play a key role in New Zealand’s win.
