LAHORE: PML-N Punjab spokesperson Azma Bukhari has termed the ruling PTI Pakistan Thug Institute . She said this in a statement here on Thursday while responding to Firdous Ashiq Awan s statement. She said that before joining the PTI, Awan was facing allegations of corruption, but after joining the PTI, she was declared neat and clean. “You can t escape foreign funding case after the confession of the head of “Pakistan Thug Institute”.
By the way, wherever you go, that party is ruined,” Azma said, adding that if not a single corruption scandal came to light during the two and a half years of Usman Buzdar, sugar and wheat scandals surely came during Plato s time.
JAMMU: Pointing out that developmental activities are going on at a snail’s pace, Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) president Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari on Sunday said the “bureaucracy” has failed good governance in J&K.
Virtually addressing party functionaries and workers at JKAP office in Jammu from Jammu East constituency, Bukhari said: “We founded Apni Party to bring both regions (Jammu and Kashmir) together after politics came to a standstill and statehood of J&K was snatched… The two regions have the same demands restoration of statehood, protection to land and jobs, and development.”
He further said, “In the absence of an elected government, public issues remain unheard. The administration has miserably failed to perform on the ground and the failure of bureaucracy in the delivery system has crumbled the entire system of good governance.”

LAHORE:Shahbaz Sharif has saved over US$ 100 million while awarding the contract to Turkish companies hired as contractors for Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) to clean the city, which today was turned into a complete mess due to the incompetence of the present rulers.
This was stated by PML-N Punjab spokesperson Azma Bukhari here on Friday while addressing a press conference. She said that the bids were received at US$ 424.37 million and were passed by the Board of Directors, which later sent the summary to the then CM Shahbaz Sharif for further negotiations. “Shahbaz Sharif negotiated with both the Turkish companies and saved more than $100 million of tax payers’ money,” she revealed and also showed the document to the media.

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday stopped state-run TV Chairman Naeem Bukhari from performing his duties and directed the information ministry to send a summary again to the cabinet for the appointment in the light of the Supreme Court judgment.
Chief Justice Athar Minullah conducted hearing of the case against the appointment of state-run TV chairman. Deputy Attorney General Syed Tayyab Shah informed the court that Attorney General Khalid Javed Khan would reach the court and give arguments in the case.
