1 dead in ‘intentional’ car crash spurred by family dispute, Grand Prairie police say

A man was killed early Saturday in an intentional car crash that was spurred by a family dispute, Grand Prairie police said.
Anna Reyes, 61, was booked into the Grand Prairie Detention Center on a charge of murder, police said. Her bail amount had not been set, and it was unclear whether she had an attorney.
Police were dispatched about 12:45 a.m. to the 900 block of South Great Southwest Parkway, not far from Jefferson Street and Tyre Park, and found the man, who has not been publicly identified, lying in a parking lot with injuries from the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man is dead and another has been charged with murder after a shooting in Grand Prairie on Wednesday.
According to the Grand Prairie Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call in the 1600 block of North Bent Tree Trail at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Police said when officers arrived, they located a man lying in the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound.

Michael DeLeon, 19, faces murder charge in the death of Chris Palma, police said.
A 19-year-old has been arrested after an 18-year-old was fatally shot early Tuesday at a Grand Prairie home, police say.
Michael DeLeon was being held in the Grand Prairie Detention Center on a charge of murder in connection with the death of Chris Palma, police said.
Officers were called to a hospital about 2:10 a.m. after Palma was taken to the hospital by a friend.
Palma had been shot in the 1900 block of South State Highway 161, near Interstate 20 and Lake Ridge Parkway, police said. He was later pronounced dead.
