KANSAS CITY, Mo. â From relating conversations on bias to windows and mirrors to researching activists, five Kansas City metro elementary and middle school teachers recently discussed implicit bias in the classroom and how to approach the subject with children. I think bias is just the not knowing or not experiencing other cultures or races, Vonnchet Clark, a pre-kindergarten and kindergarten teacher, said. It s the lack of resources available to students. It s the lack of representation. I think that s how bias starts to develop in young children.

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Georgetown County Sheriffâs Office is searching for a missing 44-year-old woman.
Tina Renae Cooper was reported missing by her family in the area of Chavis Landing on Friday night in the area of Chavis Landing, deputies say.
She is 5-feet, 7-inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees her is asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriffâs Office at 843-436-6055.
