NL Area Chamber of Commerce Names Citizen/Business of the Year The New Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce has chosen the winners of the Community Service Award and Citizen of the year. Each Year we ask the great citizens of New Lisbon to nominate individuals, couples, businesses, and groups for these awards. This year’s nominations did not disappoint. We would like to thank everyone who sent in nominations. The 2021 New Lisbon Citizen of the year honor has been awarded to Nate Koca. He is very deserving of this award, as many community members will tell you. The nomination form that came in this year for Nate said, “Every Thursday for the last 20 years Nate has taken the garbage can of the residents of New Lisbon from the street back to the house for no other reason but to be helpful. EverettLorenzo âJuniorâ N. Ritchey Jr., 88, of Ritchey Road, Everett, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Colonial Courtyard at Bedford. He was born on August 30, 1932; a son of the late Lorenzo âCapâ and Nellie M. (Stayer) Ritchey. On May 15, 1952, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, he was united in marriage to Vivian M. (Imes) Ritchey. She preceded him in death on July 31, 2015. He is survived by a son, Todd L. Ritchey, married to Lisa (Ferguson), Everett; two grandchildren; Drew L. Ritchey and Taylor J. Ritchey; sisters Florence Mock and Alene Prye; numerous nieces and nephews and his special companion, his dog âTootsieâ. He was preceded in death by siblings Clemma Redinger, Marshal K. âBudâ Ritchey, Edith Clark, Louise Clark, Doris Foor, S. JoAnn King and infant siblings William and Ruth Ritchey. ....
