A man allegedly stabbed his wife and her sister to death in Dhaka s East Nakhalpara area this afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Yeasmin Bonya and her younger sister Simu.
Police arrested Bonya s husband Roni Mia after the murders, said Sub-inspector Aklima Akter of Tejgaon Industrial Police Station.
The SI said they came to know about the murders around 3:00pm and recovered the bodies from a house in Samiti Bazar area.
The police officer said Roni, a rickshaw puller, killed them following a family dispute.
