ADEL, Ga. â Vulcan Steel Structures, Inc. (Vulcan) was recently recognized with an industry Safety Award from the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA).Â
Each year MBMA recognizes metal building systems manufacturers and associate members who show exceptional commitment to assuring workplace safety, according to a press release from Vulcan Steel Structures. Safety awards for 2020 performance were presented at the MBMA 2021 Spring Meeting held virtually April 28-30. Vulcan earned the Safety Performance Award for companies that achieved an incident rate equal to 50% or less than the OSHA industry average. Â

Both FC Devizes United and Pack Horse went into their A M Print & Copy sponsored Knockout Cup, Group A clash on the back of impressive victories in their opening quarter-final ties last weekend. A 4-0 victory for Devizes has put them in pole position to top the group, and despite their loss Pack Horse are likely to join them if they avoid defeat against Sporting Box next weekend.
LOGAN â Logan Countyâs active cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus continue to decline, with 126 in the county as of Tuesday afternoon.
Thatâs a massive drop of 50 cases from just the day before on Monday, when active cases in the county were at 176. The county added only five new cases Tuesday.
Logan Countyâs cumulative totals since its first recorded case of COVID-19 on March 25, 2020, now stands at 2,712 cases, with 2,511 recoveries and 75 deaths. The most recent death is a 57-year-old man, confirmed Tuesday.
Twenty-two of the countyâs cases are currently hospitalized.

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Per the updated Great American Conference policy on indoor sport fan attendance, Southern Arkansas University and Mulerider Athletics have announced that a limited number of spectators will be allowed inside the W.T. Watson Center beginning Monday, February 1. Student-athletes and non-student coaching staff members of the Mulerider Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams and the Mulerider Volleyball team will each receive 4 tickets to provide family members to attend games.
