Guest view: Violence on both sides of spectrum should be condemned

Apparently, University of the Pacific Professor Lou Matz and former Professor Bruce Peltier haven’t gotten the message that the national media narrative that only President Trump’s supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol is unraveling.  While there were plenty of Trump supporters there, the national media pretends that there weren’t hundreds, if not more, of Antifa and Black Lives Matter “false flag” operators dressed in Trump gear.  Listen to the words of former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund in a Feb. 1 letter: “This mob was like nothing I have seen in my law enforcement career. The group consisted of thousands of well-coordinated. well-equipped violent criminals. They had weapons, chemical munitions, protection equipment, explosives and climbing gear. A number of them were wearing radio ear pieces indicating a high level of coordination.”

Stop the Steal Rally draws 175 people in Tracy who support Trump

Bob Highfill TRACY – A group rallied Saturday in front of Tracy City Hall to support President Donald Trump, who they believe was denied re-election against Democratic challenger Joe Biden due to voter fraud. The “Stop the Steal Rally” drew 175 people, according to Tracy native Steve Wampler, who coordinated the event. Several held American flags, and pro-Trump signs and flags. Handouts were distributed that included information on how best “to stand up for President Trump and fight democratic election fraud.” “Stop the Steal” rallies were staged in other parts of the country in advance of what Trump tweeted would be “a wild” protest on Jan. 6 in Washington, D.C., the day Congress is set to convene to certify the Electoral College votes and declare President-elect Biden the winner.

Chipotle Supports The Wampler Foundation

The Coronado-based Stephen J. Wampler Foundation founder Steve Wampler was surprised on Good Morning America by his son, Joe, and his siblings. Joe recently won $10,000 for the Wampler Foundation through the “Chipotle Royalty” contest on TikTok, and Steve’s favorite Chipotle order is now featured as an official menu item, The Wamp-urrito, on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com. Chipotle was so inspired by Joe’s submission and the Wampler family’s mission that they wanted to find more ways to support the Wampler Foundation. In addition to the grand prize, digital celebrity David Dobrik announced that Chipotle will be donating $25,000 plus any proceeds raised through the Real Change feature available on the Chipotle App and at Chipotle.com.
