Jalandhar: Sanskriti KMV School opened the gates for its students welcoming them on a cheerful note. Students came to school in phased slots, scheduled grade wise. The school also held an online international greeting interaction hour with global education partner School of Romania, wherein students and teachers of both schools shared their expressions on coming to school after a year. The global interaction was symbolic of common global enthusiasm among students. Students also penned down their thoughts. The staff remained vigilant over the requisite protocol to be followed by students.

Jalandhar: Sanskriti KMV School added another feather to its cap as it bagged the National School Award for being the ‘Most socially active school’ in the region. Rachna Monga, Principal, on receiving the award during e-ceremony, mentioned that school had earned this recognition for its education integrated with social ethics, awareness, campaigns and programmes. The school has widened vision by breaking the borders of the classrooms learning and extending it involving the society at regional, national and even international level, its challenges and possible solutions for the sake of humanity and environmental responsibilities, Monga further added.

Various schools and colleges across Jalandhar celebrated National Mathematics Day by showing powerpoint presentations to students and holding online quiz, poster-making competitions.
The PG Department of Mathematics of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised online national quiz competition on mathematics. The event started at 10 am and as many as 481 students of 18 states of India participated in the online quiz.
The main objective of the competition was to increase knowledge by solving different types of problems in a short span of time. The students who scored 80 per cent and more marks will be awarded with e-certificates.
Gaurav Aggarwal of GNDU, and Shikha Verma of GGSSS Barwala, scored 100 per cent. Principal Prof Ajay Sareen congratulated the department for organising such an event.
