For the first week of March, LISD has updated its community calendar and laid out the week. This includes a number of vaccine clinics, the LIFE fair, board meetings and more.
On Tuesday, LISD vaccine clinics will be hosted throughout multiple elementary and middle schools for those that have registered with the city. The clinics will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and registrants are expected to show up on time for their appointments at their registered site.
JC Decaux cans Ham Day due to COVID-19 challenges

JC Decaux has cancelled its 2020 ‘Ham Day’ due to the logistical difficulties of delivering hams around the country posed by COVID-19. Instead, the company has entered into a partnership with OzHarvest.

Following weeks of social posts and questions from the industry regarding the logistics of delivering JCDecaux’s famous Christmas hams around the country, the Out-of-Home company today announced a partnership with OzHarvest while ‘Ham Day’ pauses in the COVID-19 landscape of 2020.
JCDecaux is renowned for its annual tradition, affectionately known as ‘Ham Day’ – a day that is well regarded in the industry as a signal that the end of year is rapidly approaching, and a time for the company to connect with advertisers and partners to celebrate the year that was. But 2020 was a year like no other.
