Among those being honoured this year are Jane Burchill of Saint John, along with Hampton High School.
Burchill received the Rising Star Award, which recognizes a person under 30 who has shown outstanding commitment to energy efficiency and conservation.
According to the utility, Burchill played a key role to increase energy literacy levels and empowered students to take action on climate change in her previous role with the Gaia Project.
