Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation (ALF) have signed a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, chairman of the Board of Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation, and Ali Abdullah Al Khater, CEO of Corporate Communications at HMC, in the presence of Nasser Al Naimi, Deputy Chief Quality Officer & Co-Director Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, Hamad Medical Corporation.

Moglix on Monday said it has raised $120 million (about ₹878.8 crore) in funding from Falcon Edge Capital, Harvard Management Company (HMC) and others, placing the industrial B2B e-commerce platform in the unicorn club. The Series E round also saw participation from existing investors Tiger Global, Sequoia Capital India and Venture Highway. “We started six years ago. We had the trust of stalwarts like Ratan Tata, and a mission to enable the creation of a $1 trillion manufacturing economy in India. Today, as we enter the next stage of our evolution, we feel this financing milestone is a testimony to our journey of innovation and disruption,” Moglix Founder and CEO Rahul Garg said.
New MAUD guidelines for Annapurna meals, sanitation and hygiene

Hyderabad: The Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) in the state has issued new guidelines concerning health, sanitation, public grievance redressal and Annapurna canteens.
The GHMC is directed to amend the Annapurna Canteens timings to provide meals at Rs.5 to the poor.
The authorities told the GHMC to provide night dinner during the lockdown to those staying in night shelters and orphanage houses including the migrant workers.
The Municipalities and Corporations in cities and districts are directed to ensure prompt redressal of the people’s grievances.
