新竹清華大學材料系大3生李欣恬國二時罹患骨癌，前前後後歷經13次手術，大二那年因癌症復發截去與她相伴19年的左腿，但個性樂觀的她並沒有被命運擊倒，在住院期間申請遠距修課並獲得書卷獎，更提筆寫下散文《夜空星熠》，記錄截肢的心路歷程，不但得到2020年文薈獎大專社會組全國第一名，也在今年榮獲總統教育獎，她的座右銘就是「生命會自己找到出路」。
