Destek için sayfayı lütfen profilinizde paylaşın. http://www.facebook.com/profesorumitozdag.Prof. Dr. Ümit Özdağ, 1994 yılında “Avrasya Dosyası” adlı üç aylık uluslar arası ilişkiler ve stratejik araştırmalar dergisini çıkarmaya başlamış ve editörlüğünü yapmıştır. 1980’lerin sonundan itibaren terörizm ve etnik sorunlar konularında araştırmalar yapan Özdağ, 1990’lı yıllar boyunca Doğu, Güneydoğu Anadolu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu illerimizden göç alan illerde sosyo-politik içerikli saha araştırmaları yapmıştır. 1996 senesinde Kuzey Irak’ta ekonomik merkezli araştırmalar gerçekleştirmiştir.. . Ümit Özdağ, 1997-1998 senelerinde ABD’de Baltimore/Towson Üniversitesi’nde küreselleşme, Avrasya’da etnik sorunlar konularında araştırmalar yapmış ve aynı konularda ders vermiştir. Ümit Özdağ 1999 senesinde dünyanın en büyük stratejik araştırma merkezlerinden birisi olan Avrasya Stratejik Araştırmalar Merkezi’ni (ASAM) kurmuş ve başkanlığını üstlenmiştir. 2000 yılında ASAM’a bağlı olarak çalışan "Ermeni Araştırmaları Enstitüsü"nü kurmuştur.. . Ümit Özdağ, 2000 yılında “Stratejik Analiz” adlı aylık strateji dergisinin yayına geçirmiştir. 2001 senesi başında “Ermeni Araştırmaları” adlı üç aylık dergiyi yayına başlatmıştır. 2002 senesinde Londra’da “The Review of International Affairs” adlı üç aylık dergiyi ve “Ankara Papers” adlı kitap dizisini Frank Cass yayınevi ile birlikte yayınlamaya başlamıştır. 2001 yılında siyaset bilimi profesörü olan Özdağ, 2003’de ASAM Başkanlığından ayrılmıştır.. . Gazi Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi’nde öğretim üyesi olan Prof Dr. Ümit Özdağ 2005 yılından bu yana 21. Yüz Yıl Türkiye Enstitüsü Başkanlığını yürütmektedir. Prof.Dr. Ümit Özdağ “21. Yüzyıl” adlı üç aylık düşünce dergisinin yayın kurulu başkanlığını yapmaktadır. Güvenlik bilimleri, ,istihbarat bilimi düşük yoğunluklu çatışma, etnik sorunlar, Avrupa Birliği, Avrasya ve Ortadoğu konularında çalışan Prof. Dr. Ümit Özdağ’ın yayınlanmış on üç kitabı, dört tercüme kitabı, Avrasya Dosyası, Stratejik Analiz, Türk Yurdu gibi dergi ve Yeniçağ ve Akşam gibi gazetelerde yayınlanmış 300’ün üzerinde makalesi mevcuttur.
