Pioneros en España en el formato de disco virtual, apostaron fuerte y ganaron. El hecho de que los tres miembros de 84 sean autores, les proporciona una mayor riqueza creativa y capacidad compositiva. Recogen la herencia de los grandes grupos vocales, jugando con las armonías y las diferentes tonalidades de sus tres voces, en una senda que en España tuvo grandes exponentes, como Cánovas, Rodrigo, Adolfo y Guzmán y que últimamente había dejado de ser transitada por los artistas de nuestro país. . En su música se reflejan muchas influencias, partiendo del rock americano de los 70 (The Band, CS&N, América, The E Street Band…) y de los que recogieron su herencia (Wilco, Jayhawks, Wallflowers..) filtradas por su personalidad y unidas a la tradición del pop en español, dando como un resultado un sonido actual, pero “de los de toda la vida”, autores de canciones con letras poéticas y trabajadas, que perduran y no son flor de un día.. Han girado por toda España y por América, tocado en las salas más pequeñas y también en estadios de fútbol con igual solvencia. . . . Prueba de ello es su último año en Madrid, llenando Joy Eslava, la sala Caracol, Galileo; colgando el cartel de “Sold Out” en su Semana 84, (en la que lograron abarrotar la sala Búho Real, Honky Tonk, La Cocina Rock Bar y Costello en una misma semana), y en su último gran concierto en los Teatros del Canal, cerrando el ciclo, “Retratos de Mahou”, por todo lo alto, logrando la mejor entrada del mismo. . Sus conciertos son en estos tiempos la mejor manera de transmitir su música y ganar adeptos y les están situando al frente de una nueva generación de artistas que pronto darán mucho que hablar en toda España..
