Foreningen er grundlagt i 1921 og har de seneste år ligget forholdsvist stabilt på omkring 100 medlemmer. Foreningen holder til i kælderen under Kongehøjskolen (Rugkobbelskolen) med adgang fra parkeringspladsen ved stadion på Vestvejen. På skydebanen har vi 10 standpladser på 15 meter, som er godkendt op til 9mm og .38 Special. Vi skyder dog fortrinsvist .22 og luft på banen, da andet kræver for meget vedligeholdelse af bagvæggen. Ønsker man at prøve større kalibre som .38 Special og 9mm så forhør dig i foreningen. Der er åbent hver onsdag fra klokken 18.00 – Vær dog opmærksom på at tidsrummet mellem 18.00-19.00 er forbeholdt børnetræning. Voksne skyder fra klokken 19.00. Der er mulighed for at skyde pistol eller riffel efter ønske. Såfremt man ikke selv er i besiddelse af våben, er der selvfølgelig mulighed for at låne ved foreningen. Salonrifler på jagttilladelse må gerne benyttes. Nye skytter vil på skydebanen være under kyndig vejledning og konstant opsyn af en instruktør – Sikkerhed frem for alt. Som ny i foreningen betaler man hverken kontingent eller baneleje de første 3 gange man er på skydebanen. (Banelejen er 5,-). Her betaler man kun for patroner, hvilket er 30,- for 50 stk. Ønsker man efter 3 gange at blive medlem af klubben, er årskontingentet 220,- og halvpris for juniorskytter og pensionister. Der er intet alderskrav til skytterne. Af sikkerhedshensyn vil helt unge skytter dog udelukkende have mulighed for at skyde .22 riffel, men det er en vurdering der foretages i foreningen. I opholdslokalerne sælges øl og sodavand til fordelagtige priser – bemærk dog at det ikke er tilladt at indtage alkohol inden skydning. Siden vil være under løbende opdatering.
