The Alinytjara Wilurara Natural Resources Management (NRM) Board is the only all-Aboriginal NRM Board in Australia. The Board has representation from the major stakeholders of the region including but not exclusive to Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara, Maralinga Tjarutja, Yalata and Far West Aboriginal Corporation.. . The Board works with Natural Resources Alinytjara Wilurara (Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources) to partners with major stakeholders to assist Traditional Owners and communities to look after Tjukurpa, people, country and water.. NRM priorities of the Board include. - Board governance. - empowering people to look after their country. - investing in people, training and employment in NRM. - kapi (water management). - kamulah (camels, large feral herbivore management). - waru (fire management). - kapi tjukula (rockholes). - tjanpi kura (Buffel Grass). .
