From Fashion, to Ceramic to, Music, to Graffiti all sit together under one umbrella to Unlearn.

Thus to start up with we host short one day – two day workshops on different subjects, .

Monday might call for Candle Design day, interested participant would be invited to attend the same and learn from experts.
It would be a short touch & feel experience..

Tuesday might call for “Pepakura”...an introduction to Paper Craft..
.
Friday might host DRAPING as a subject picked from fashion industry.
Drape a design over the dress form and finally make the same as a wearable garment, yet fashionable.

Weekends, we talk about health & nutrition.
Experts from the field share an introduction to Importance of physical fitness.

MAYA would be known for CUTTING CHAI & ADDA, anytime time and every time of the day, you can come sit over some TEA, some bites and some known & unknown friends......
TALK / CHAT / BLABBER / DISCUSS / DEBATE and close your day with LAUGHTER!!!!!.

Motive here is to make people aware of the varied things they could do other than regular activities.
Also this would help people to rediscover own self.
We would focus on giving exposure to people about a variety of skill that is hidden within one or the other, which mostly is left un discovered..
No it’s not an NGO, but having said that it’s not a business proposal either to fetch huge money.
This is a passion driven exercise which would give nominal earning sufficient for existence..

We invite people from different strata of the society to be the part of MAYA family and give us different idea about how we could develop skill and get people to pursue what keeps them happy.
Focus is community building, age / sex / social status / etc are no bar..

Further to the extension of the same we would try to develop similar small studios across the country and help out people to find out the way to nurture their skill and focus on what they should do rather then what they always do.

In short – it would be the 1st step towards freedom .This exercise or may be a single day workshop on what you would like to do would omit confusion between Happiness & Freedom.
Every participant would be given a clear brief about what they are actually going to practice the whole day before they decide to add their name to it.
We would even try to plan out special lunch for that specific day, when I say special lunch I indicate food other than your daily course or food available next door…… Slowly over the period of time we would connect people together and create a uniform umbrella “Maya Family “.
Every individual from this Family would have something special to talk about / share their journey out of the routine life and create a place for them self which is absolutely skill based and gives them Freedom.
This would be recorded and published, when MAYA goes live online.
