Being moved by the Holy Spirit to step into a unique ministry of freedom to worship and minister the gospel of Jesus Christ in truth and power, after lots of praying and soul searching, I began to look for a place to come together and meet. During a time of prayer in early 1996 the Holy Spirit spoke to me to call or name this non-denominational church, Alive in Christ an “Outreach Ministry”. Our primary goal was to see lost souls saved and the full power and anointing of God’s word demonstrated. A building in the area of 1800 French street, in Piedmont came available which once housed the The Church of the First Born. This building was all set up and ready to have church. We prayed and thanked the Lord for the opened door He had given us. Our first service was Sunday, Mother’s day in 1996. We stayed at this location until early 2001 at which time the building was sold. We then moved to a small building on 100 East Fir Street in Piedmont. We then got the opportunity to move in a much larger building on Highway AA, in Piedmont. This was sometime in March of 2002 and we were there for 10 years plus. Then we certainly got blessed and moved into the location where we are at now and had our first service on August 05, 2012 at 102 Lane Avenue, in Piedmont, which had been previously the Assembly of God Church where we’ve been seeing a supernatural, powerful move of God and the Holy Spirit.
