Richard also owned his own shop, Truckee Tattoo, wich was a staple in the Tahoe-Truckee area for decades. After a near fatal accident Richard and his wife Deborah decided to move from the cold snow to a warmer climate where he and his son opened Anvil Brand Tattoo in Marysville, Ca. Matt carries on his father's tradition by tattooing 6 days a week from 2 to 8 Mon thru Sat while his father, Richard, opens the shop from 10 to 2 Tues thru Sat.
