A EDUCATRAN, Centro de Formação de Condutores, popularmente chamada de autoescola, tem como missão Educar para o Trânsito, formando candidatos a condutores de veículos automotores para aquisição de sua primeira habilitação e atualizando condutores já habilitados, desde 1999, desenvolvendo uma conscientização da real situação encontrada em nosso cotidiano, formando um pensamento crítico sobre o ser cidadão, abrangendo a busca do conhecimento, dos deveres, direitos e obrigações a eles inerentes, além de despertar neste indivíduo o desejo de fazer parte do contexto, participando e acreditando que a modificação de hábitos particulares pode influenciar diretamente em alterações comportamentais significativas na comunidade em que habita.. . Diante de um quadro desordenado onde verificamos a total ausência de fiscalização dos órgãos competentes aliada a uma falta de comprometimento de alguns empresários do setor, constatamos que a variação de preços entre empresas desse segmento reproduz a diminuição da carga horária legalmente estabelecida, comprometendo a formação adequada de nosso futuro condutor e espelhando um quadro de insegurança comprovada pelos números alarmantes de acidentes e vítimas no trânsito.. .
