BOL is a non-profit organisation committed to develop innovative and creative ways to educate children in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural democratic society. We aim to provide a platform for the voices and expressions of all children, a place where learning is all about fun and creativity.. . We believe that it is imperative to make people aware of the importance of the rights of children to express themselves through their own thoughts and expressions. We began conducting workshops and interactive sessions with children in early 2010 as an experiment, using creative methods like painting, music, theatre, dance, animation film making, pop-up books, storytelling etc. Following an overwhelming response from the kids, the positive impact we were able to make and the immeasurable happiness we got, led us to register in 2013 and expand our outreach. . . Based on its Alternative Education approach, BOL has worked out suitable modules involving mental exercises, audio-visual exercises, activity-based learning, storytelling, music, drama and film-making which are all directed towards a methodical, comprehensive, sustainable, fun and creative learning. These forms of education also build character. Learning by doing fosters a deeper sense of responsibility and awareness. We wish to instil confidence in the children, encourage teamwork, and shape communities
