She has extensive knowledge and experience in Bollywood and Classical Indian Dancing.. . Rita's Dance Career started after learning many Bangladeshi Culture Dancing at the age of 8!!! . . And now has the following skills, which demonstrates her dedication to learn many forms of dance: -. . • Classical Indian dancing, trained by Padma Menon in Kuchi Puri for 2 years in Canberra 1990-92,. • Performed and involved in a Bollywood Production directed by Bollywood Dimensions Canberra in 2007,. • Also taught Bollywood Dancing for Bollywood Dimensions school in 2007-2008,. • Attended the famous Indian Choreographer, Shiamak Davar School in Melbourne for 2 years, learning modern/jazz Bollywood dance,. • Attended Bharatnatyam classes, another form of Classical Indian dancing, at the Chandrabhanu Bharatalaya Academy in Melbourne for 3 years,. • Taught students and performed many Bollywood dances at weddings/functions/concerts for Mai Nachungi Dance Company in Melbourne for 3 years. Performing at the Sonu Nigam concert in Melbourne was a great honour as well.. • Attended classes at the Dance Dynamics Studio in Melbourne to learn various dance styles, . • In addition, attended various classes to learn different dance genres, like Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, to name a few, throughout her career.. • Finally now teaching Modern Bollywood and Indian Classical dancing in Canberra!!!
