Detailed description is . . My name is Natalie and I have been a groomer at Bow Wow's for over 13 years.. . . . I have a purpose built secure salon at my home in Wyndham Vale.. . I love my job and have a real passion for pooches!. . I offer a happy & safe environment for your dog and treat them as if they were my own.. . On arrival your dog will be greeted with a cuddle (sorry dogs only!) . His owner & I will discuss his clipping needs such as clip length, skin condition and type of shampoo to use if he has skin irritations etc. and discuss pick up time - usually 1 hour for each dog.. Then your dog & I will wave good bye to you and we get started on your his/her makeover.. . First, I give your dog a pre-clip (to get rid of any matting and/or nasties that might be in your dogs coat) his ears cleaned and plucked (if he's happy for me to do so), nails trimmed (not too short!) and bottom & groin clipped.. . We then head on over to the bath for a lovely warm wash and flea rinse (if needed) I only use fresh, clean water for each pooch - never recycled.. . Once I have towel dried your dog with a warm, clean towel I then give him a blow dry, if your he's a little scared of the dryer I will use a lower setting which will take a little longer to dry him, but that's ok!. . When your dog is nice and dry I then start the finishing clip which includes shaping of the face & feet and brushing/trimming of the ears and tail or the ears & tail can be left to their natural length - it's up to you!. . I then finish your his makeover with a finishing spray which smells wonderful! . . When you collect your dog I will discuss with you any findings ie: fleas, skin irritations, lumps or bumps.. . As your dog has only been away from his owners for a short time, he will come home feeling happy - not over tired or shaking from being caged for most of the day which happens with lots of grooming salons.. . My rates are very competitive and I strongly believe in QUALITY over QUANTITY and that is why i am happy to groom a few dogs a day instead of booking them in back to back and treating them like "$" on legs.. . .
