Detailed description is My name is Brad, and my aim is to build quality suspended Bird Aviaries for the novice and the serious bird enthusiast. . I am a qualified Diesel Fitter of 23 years and a qualified Arborist of 8 years.. I got into building suspended aviaries in the last 12 months (on a casual basis)through my niece Michaela who needed a cage built for her quality parrots and wanted something neat, tidy and functional.. So with consultation and understanding with my niece, we built my first single suspended aviary with a “drop bottom door” as per photo’s.. . I used the “drop bottom door with sprung loaded padbolt latch/s” scenario because I wanted people to have access to the internals of the cage for easy maintenance, cleaning and for inside set-ups. This takes away the problem of trying to use one arm through a small door opening to do any maintenance.. . All the cages are built under cover in my fully functional workshop.. . All the frame materials (Duragal) I use are from Bluescope Steel which is 25x25x1.6 and the sheet metal and/or colourbond (.55 thick) are from Queensland Sheet Metal. . . I use quality CIG Satincraft 13 welding rods to weld the frame work and all welded areas are sprayed with a primer.. The mesh is the Whites product 12.7 x 12.7 x 1.24 gauge dimensions.. All screws are gal hex head.. . All cages are washed in white vinegar to disperse any of the galvanised residue and every effort is made to check over inside and out of the cage to eliminate any sharp edges from the construction process.. . Customers have the freedom to choose any product line materials which they feel will suit there bird aviary build. . .
