Türkiye’nin lider cam ambalaj üreticisi Şişecam, camın en sürdürülebilir ambalaj malzemesi olmasından hareketle 2011 yılında, Türkiye’nin en kapsamlı sürdürülebilirlik ve sosyal sorumluluk projelerinden Cam Yeniden Cam’ı hayata geçirdi. Projeyle bugüne kadar 134 belediyeyle çalışma yapılarak 13 bin adet cam kumbarası hibe edilirken, 200bini aşkın çocuğa verilen eğitimlerle farkındalık yaratıldı.. Proje kapsamında gerçekleştirilen işbirlikleriyle, camın geri dönüşümü konusunda model oluşturulmuş; doğal kaynakların korunmasına destek olunmuştur. Bugüne kadar çöpe atılması önlenen 590 bin ton cam şişenin geri dönüşümü sayesinde önlenen karbon salımı, 6.800.000 ağacın 1 yılda temizlediği kadar havaya eşdeğerdir..
